Hi, I'm Alina
I am passionate about helping people achieve healthier, happier lives. I love finding affordable solutions that are easy to implement into your existing lifestyle. I can't wait to meet you and hear your story...

My Story
“Don’t eat it with butter,” is the only thing that was replaying in my mind as I lay down to sleep that day. Maybe he is right, maybe I need to watch what I eat and lose some weight? I believed it. The next day, as I went to the kitchen to get some Russian candy (as I usually do since I have a sweet tooth), I got just one and went back into the living room to eat it. Since no one was home, I knew I was safe. I knew no one was watching and scrutinizing my food choices. The following day, I did not eat any. The one after, skipped lunch at school. The week after, all of the lunches. The rest, well you could probably guess by now.
My eating disorder was not the only challenge I faced in my life. Sexual abuse, my mother’s cancer diagnoses, my father’s diabetes, losing my ability to walk, and everything in between made things much much harder. I quite literally wanted to disappear and I did just that.
But. Falling and never getting back up was not an option for Alina. Perfectionists like me don’t give up when things are difficult. Perfectionists like me find a way. Always. And that is exactly what I did. However, as I previously thought that we “find” a way, it became clear to me that that’s not quite how life works. Instead, I MADE a way. I picked up the large stone in front of me and I threw it behind me without ever looking back. Why did I do that? I simply wanted to. I have never wanted anything more than being free from all this. I desired a family. I desired love. I desired a connection. I desired to be a better, happier, healthier person for those I love. They deserve the best version of myself. I sure couldn’t give them that while attached to my past.
Once I threw the stone behind me, my only option now was to walk forward ‘cause I for sure could not walk back without stumbling and falling (probably a 100% chance for me ‘cause I sure am a clumsy woman, haha).
I looked fear straight in the face and walked forward. I jumped into my fire and I don’t regret a moment of that temporary pain and discomfort. Being a science nerd, I knew resistance is necessary for growth. Resistance is necessary for change.. Think about how you grow muscles. You lift weights. You add resistance.
I know you’re not here to learn science. You are here to learn about me and to come to know me. So I am not boring you anymore.
As painful it is to relive those 17+ years of my life, I am grateful for each day of those years. Why? No, I am not crazy, haha. I am grateful because those years shaped me into the person I am today. Those years allowed me to grow. Those years allowed me to dig deep within myself, and to learn and understand myself fully. Those years enabled me to develop my intuition which now guides each and every one of my choices, behaviors and words. Those years allowed me to never ever allow myself to be anyone else but myself. To love fully. To love imperfectly. To love deeply. And most importantly, those years taught me the beauty of life. They taught me the beauty of health. The beauty of what it’s like to wake up every day grateful to be able to literally use your body to get out of bed.
By choosing to work with me, you’re choosing to wake up every day, feeling healthier and happier than when you went to bed the night before. I hope…actually I WANT you to make that choice because I genuinely want and need you to feel healthier. I promise you it’s won’t be easy, but what I can promise you is that I will make it as easy as possible for you. Most importantly, I will never leave you to face the challenges yourself. I will be with you every step of the way.

What was the first thing I learned about Alina Sarkisyan? I'd say it was the depths of her knowledge. Alina is very well educated and learned. Listen to her discussing mental health and nutrition, and you will see this right away. She knows what she's talking about. Alina also has intuition, which guides her as she explores the depths of your emotions and thoughts. Her first impressions are not random guesses.

What was the second thing I learned about Alina? It was little things, like how she got flustered when her ZOOM program was on the fritz. How sad and/or angry, certain current events made her. How she was always apologetic over these little things, and suddenly it was I, reassuring her that her displays of her humanity were refreshing and endearing. Few things make you start to open up to, and trust, a person more, than when he or she is relatable. Like any individual, Alina has her vulnerabilities, and this makes her relatable.
This is what led to the third thing I learned about Alina: her empathy. The whole concept of care, is as much emotional, as it is intellectual. Knowing what to do isn't enough. It means little if you're indifferent. Care is a nurturing action, and this is why proper care requires empathy. The deeper you feel for someone, the more you are moved to help them and want to make them better. Health care, in particular, is guided by empathy. Alina invests more than her time. She invests herself. In making you feel better. Healthier. Bringing you comfort and wellness, brings her joy.
This is what you get, when you take Alina Sarkisyan on as a counselor for mental health and/or nutrition. A person with knowledge; who is human and relatable, and someone with empathy and compassion.

To this day, I am convinced that Alina was sent to me by God. As a single mother of a neurospicy kid, I had my hands full. I kept losing track of one thing while focusing on another. One person can only do so much.
I managed to completely lose track of his health and level of obesity. It got out of control very fast, leading to type 2 diabetes. Alina took the time to learn everything about my son, including his sleeping and eating habits, and made suggestions that were easy to follow. I was ready for anything and thought it would take a very long time to undo the damage. However, in as quickly as a week, my boy's sugar levels normalized, and with a daily supplement routine, the glucose and insulin levels are under control.
Obesity is still an issue, and we are working on it, but the scariest parts are behind us. I feel blessed and extremely grateful for Alina and her patience with us. Zero judgement, 100% understanding and compassion.

If you are looking for long-lasting results, and solutions that don't require toxic medicine, Alina is your best person for it. I love how dedicated she is to helping people! I can see how passionate she is about finding affordable, healthy solutions. Often, she shares recipes with me and current sales on products we both use. Before I met Alina, I never knew how many delicious and healthy alternatives were out there!
Thank you so much, Alina, you are my angel!

My relationship with Alina began as a student and teacher in a homeschooling setting. It quickly evolved into a health and nutrition coaching service. Alina's ability to find healthier options for snacks is amazing, and she helped me a lot in getting my health in the right direction.

Alina's patience and compassion make her a great person to work with. Not once did I feel judged, and she took the time to get to know me. Aside from nutritional counseling, Alina also offered her therapy services, which helped me to gain a new perspective on my relationships with family and friends.

I highly recommend Alina as a professional because she doesn't offer magical solutions, but realistic ones. Her approach resonated with me because she added things into my lifestyle rather than taking things away. This helped to stay on track and not resent the process.
