Nutrition Counseling
Using my training and knowledge of Eating Psychology, I explore the interplay of each client’s unique psychological, emotional, social, and environmental factors that are influencing their eating behaviors and their relationship with food. I go beyond the physiological aspects of hunger and nutrition. I take on a holistic approach, examining and taking into consideration clients’ underlying motivations and influences that shape their eating habits. From there, I educate the clients on the importance of food quality, food combination, food order, macronutrient balance, and micronutrient (vitamins and minerals) bioavailability (the extent and rate of nutrient absorption and thus its availability for use in the body.
