Although bloating is far more complex and individualized, today I wanted to tackle ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฒ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ป, ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜€ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ณ: โฃโฃ

ย 1) ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก breakfast - ๐’‘๐’“๐’๐’•๐’†๐’Š๐’, ๐’„๐’‚๐’“๐’ƒ, ๐’‡๐’‚๐’• & ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ - While greens (i.e. green smoothies) and supplements might be part of your routine, just like we commonly hear with medications, you want to take these things ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐€๐…๐“๐„๐‘ ๐จ๐ซ ๐–๐ˆ๐“๐‡ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐จ๐ (except probiotics which should be taken on an empty stomach upon waking up). Greens powders can be very high in ๐˜ง๐˜ช๐˜ฃ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ and ๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฏ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ด which can cause ๐˜ฃ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ, ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ถ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ๐˜ข, ๐˜ค๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ฎ๐˜ฑ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ, and other digestive discomfort. I recommend ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฏ๐ž๐ ๐ ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง๐ฌ. Eat a balanced, filling meal and if you use them, include supplements ๐š๐ฌ ๐๐€๐‘๐“ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฆ๐ž๐š๐ฅ, not in place of. โฃโฃ

We might not always have the opportunity to evenly ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐ฐ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐š๐ฒ. So, do your best to include water at least a few times in the day, and ๐š๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐ ๐œ๐ก๐ฎ๐ ๐ ๐ข๐ง๐  half your daily amount ๐š๐ญ ๐จ๐ง๐œ๐ž. Too much water at one time can cause you to feel overly full, bloated, nauseous, and to skip meals.โฃโฃ Also, as you increase fiber, you must proportionally increase water intake or you will have the opposite effect (i.e. more bloating and constipation).

3)ย ๐Œ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž ๐š๐ญ ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐— ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ - Again, do what's possible for YOUR lifestyle - even a few steps count! Move when you can. If you have regular workouts during the week, great! But also plan in ๐š ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ฉ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ via a trip upstairs, a walk to your car at lunch, or a few leg swings while working at a standing desk. This ๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง and keeps things moving. โฃโฃ
